There's a tutorial on Stars & Stamps today by Pam at Airbornewife's Stamping Spot that is so pretty, I just had to try it!! I used generic dark blue cardstock, some flowers I bought at a Scrapbook Expo a few years ago, SU's Teeny Tiny Wishes and Priceless stamps, SU rhinestones, and an SU punch for the sentiment....
I'm showing the side view so you can see that I gave the tag a little bit of dimension with some pop dots.
I've also been having lots of fun with digi's... My OWH friends weren't kidding when they told me these things were addictive!!
The digi is from Jedi Scrapbooking and if you get a chance, I highly recommend visiting her page! The papers and embellishments are from my Exscrapaganza kit, and I colored the image with SU markers. And I think I bought the rafia at Michael's.
I wanted to put a sentiment on it, but couldn't figure out which one, so what do you think if I leave it as is? Too plain?
Pretty, pretty, pretty!!! I really like the swirly stamps and the swirly embossing.
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing ~ Pam
Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the embossed flower card. I'm hoping to have some time tomorrow to give this a whirl. I loved it from the very first one that Pam posted!
ReplyDeleteGinnie, glad you used dark paper so we can see how it looks; your card is gorgeous! Don't you just love this technique!
ReplyDeleteYay! Pretty!
ReplyDeleteI like that you did the swirl in light ink on dark paper.
I love that you did the white blue, it looks great!
