Piggy Birthday

One of my most challenging orders came in last month... my cousin asked for birthday invitations with PIGGIES on them!! Her daughter is going thru a 'Piggy' phase and she couldn't find any invites! This was no easy task!!! Luckily my daughter thought to go to the elementary school by us, and one of the kindergarten teachers had the perfect pig!!

I folded textured cardstock and cut the pig on the fold. My daughter came up with the idea to put a ruffle on it for a tutu, we added a bow, a googly eye, and the sentiment... isn't this adorable?!?!

I wanted to do something different for her Thank You cards, so at a local 'Cricut Swarm', I borrowed the Create A Critter cartridge and made these....

I believe the grass is a Martha Stewart Border Punch, and the clouds are cupcake tops from my Cricut Celebrations cartridge embossed with my Cuttlebug. And of course the sentiment is from Stampin' Up. I also made some extras and put Happy Birthday sentiments on them for some other orders.

I'm also working on filling an order of cards for a friend that ordered like 3 months ago!! Thank Goodness she's patient!!! I've made most of them already, but here's just one for now.....

This is made with one of the Stampin' Up Designer Series paper packs.... not sure what it's called but if anyone wants to know, I'll find out for you!! Oh... and I used Sketch #1 from Operation Write Home's Stars & Stamps Blog.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Please leave a comment so I know you were here!!
