... And here is a fun card I made last week. I've seen ladybugs on various blogs that I thought were so cute, but most were premade embellishments, so I came up with this on my own. I used 2 1/2" red and black circles for the body and wings, 1 1/2" black circle for the head, hole punched black paper and used the little circles for the dots on the wings, wiggly eyes, a white marker for the smile, and cut a bazillion slits in dark green for the grass!
Feel free to CASE him, but please refer back to my site... and leave a message here with your link so I can see what you come up with!!
Yay, Virginia! Welcome to OWH Sketches! Your card is really adorable! Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!
ReplyDeleteNice job on this week's OWH sketch. Great striped paper and I like the scalloped edge. Cute ladybug too! Check the back posts at OWH Stars & Stamps and you will find tons of "punch" characters made from mostly circle punches...tons of fun.
ReplyDeleteSuch cute cards. Perfect for kids.
ReplyDeleteWelcome! Great use of this design.
ReplyDeleteLove the ladybug and may try it out soon.
